The Vil'age

Eh! i'm finally able to log another post! =}
i've been dead bz last week.. tt's why i'm not able to post anything..

8/11 Thursday

I'm working on that day! even though its deepavali..
u can't get any offdays when u're doing sales.. ={

i work till 7pm.. (i tot i can go off at 6pm) and after that..
yeah i'm meeting my frens @ heeren for a dinner..
of cos we're not celebrating deepavali =P
its jus a normal dinner outing..

Heeren basement there's this restaurant called
Vil'age(if i still rmb correctly)..
The atmosphere. is sort of.. and feel like... u're entering a
Village =X (if not why they want to name the place Vil'age haha!)

Over there u'll see lots of kiosk? each selling different stuff..
there's spagetti stall, baked rice stall, drinks stall,
western food stall(selling steak and etc) and a lot more to be listed..

oh.. and the food ordering system is kind of unique to me.. as
this is the first time i've been to such place..
upon entering the place, u'll be given a expensive card
(u'll nid to pay $100 if u lose it)..
there's a barcode on the card.. to purchase the food there..
u'll jus nid to let them scan ur card.. and ya u've made a purchase!
upon leaving the place.. they'll noe all the stuff u've ordered by
scanning the barcode on ur card.. that's abt the system.. =}

oh ya.. jh reached the place abt 1hr after.. b4 that we chitchatted
for awhile b4 deciding to look around the place, to see if there's
anything nice..
Me and Ss ordered a Soya Milk($3 each!!!) and jo ordered a
Coke($2.90 each!).
i hav to admit the stuff over there is rather expensive.. O.o

we've been pondering on what to eat for abt 20mins b4 we
decided to buy.. i bought this seafood baked rice..($16.80!!)
hmm.. its rather nice =} (of cos u probably wont say its bad after
spending $17 for it).. but its really nice.. the ingredient is fresh.. esp
de scallop ^^

to cut things short.. we left the place at abt 10pm.. if i'm not wrong
again.. with a total spending of $170++ in total for 6ppl.. price almost
comparable to "No-Sign-Board"! lol.. but well.. if its once in a while..
its pretty OK!

we settled down at Starbucks for awhile and chitchatted b4 we went
home..
oh ya.. Thanks Van for the ride home!

its a tiring day!

9/11 Friday

hoho.. i went wif russ to chomp chomp during our breaks..
(somewhere nearby chomp chomp) and had our lunch there!
he intro me this western food stall called
Aston(if i dun rmb wrongly again!) there where he thinks its nice..
but well.. its indeed nice =}
and then he keep askin me for the differences comparing to the meal
i had yesterday.. lol.. well.. its a big price gap.. i ate this
chargrill chicken which cost $5.50..(yesterday's meal can eat 6 of this)..
wif a choice of 2 side dishes.
I skipped 1 lecture bcos of this.. so bad ={ this is the first time i skipped
lesson for this sem.. lol..

but anyway that's all for today =}
